Prerequisite:  We recommend OEVI 0N05 be taken (WSET Foundation in Wine - Level 1) - however it is not a prerequisite.

This course deals with all aspects of wine. Learn major grape varieties and wine styles from key wine producing countries of the world, the main spirit categories and understand factors that influence wine quality and price. Students will taste and compare styles as they are guided using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting.

This qualification is intended as vocational training in product knowledge for those employed in the wine and spirit drinks industry who have some previous knowledge of wines and spirits.  This course is also appropriate for those not employed in the drinks industry but who have a serious interest in wine and wish to broaden their knowledge in a structured way.

If you are an employer wishing to train your staff this course will equip them with knowledge of the main wine styles and spirits categories.  This course is suitable for anyone employed in wine sales and service.

Registration is confirmed upon receipt of course fee, and is non-refundable once course begins.
